Karma?

Why me? Why you?! Why does this stuff always happen to you? Only you!! This is the lovely conversation that was going on with Sean this Saturday as I sat on the side of the freeway with a flat tire.

I've been leading a Community involvement event called Paint Your Heart Out at work and needed to use Sean's truck to haul supplies around. So I wake up early Saturday morning feeling great...I love helping others. I grab some breakfast for all the volunteers and we start getting to work on Prep day! For only having 7 people show up we got a lot of work done and got outta there by noon. So here I am cruising home looking forward to laying out on this beautiful sunny saturday! When....the car starts to swerve and Im like..huh whats going on??? I race to cut ppl off and try to pullover!! I make it to the side of the freeway and yep...Nail in the tire!!

Karma?!? WTF? why me? this type of stuff always seems to happen to me. So, I'm on the phone with Meagan trying to figure out what to do and a old rusty looking van pulls over...harmless little old guy comes up and offers to fix the tire for me. Awesome!! Thank you so much random guy who carries around a mini air compressor. Problem solved I hit the road and head to the gas station to put more air in the tire. Once I get home and close the car door I can hear the air whistling out of the tire...CRAP! now what? Call Sean for some guidance and he is just SO frustrated with me that he was no help at all. Long story short...He spent all weeekend trying to get this brand new tire I ruined replaced!

So...is this Karma? Im a good person. I mean i just finished volunteering and this happens to me? Can someone explain this to me? I just dont get it?

Easter

I had a great weekend! I was able to visit the family is San Diego and still come home and enjoy some QT with Sean on a rare Sunday off. Momz and Popz are so funny, when I go and visit I just laugh at how much of them I have in me. We are such big kids and goofy! Some things will never change and I don't mind this one ;p Here is a pic of my mom and Reese hanging out by the BBQ waiting for those Smoked Ribs to finish.

Those Ribs were worth the wait too! So after chowing down at home I packed up the care package and my lil dog too and headed home to relax and feast some more with Sean.

We decided to go to 1,000 steps beach in Laguna and experience those stairs. This beach is sooo close to us and we have never been there,but just keep talking about it! Finally we did it! I think this might be my new Favorite spot, it's so beautiful, clean and it seemed exclusive/private. I love that! We watched the sunset and now that Sean has eyes like a hawk he pointed out a group of Dolphins to me! How awesome is that! Sitting there and just soaking up the beauty really reminds me of my DREAM...I want to fall asleep every night to the sounds of the ocean and wake up to ocean views! One day! One Day! Sean and I are going to be there ;p Cant wait! haha


We headed off to get some sushi fro dinner and to watch a movie "observe and Report" Ehh. I'll give it about 3.5 stars, not bad, but not the best! I had a couple of good laughs and thats really all that matters! haha All in all I would have to say I had a blessed weekend and love exploring new places with the love of my life!! I Thank GOD for all he continues to bless me with!

A new day

No more cleanse back to eating food, I just hate deciding what to eat! Everything out there seems processed or bad for you these days. I went to Henry's and stocked up on fresh fruit and veggies for now. I've been eating healthier since the cleanse, but I feel like I get hungry sooner and more frequently! ;/ So I constantly need to have healthy snacks around me or else I will eat whatever junk i can find! Well I have to get to work just thought I would give a little update on my after cleanse lifestyle!! haha

This weekend we are going to Catalina Island!! I cant wait I've never been there and hear it is beautiful place to be.
